That is why the upcoming Mobile Content Creation Course for beginners this June immediately caught our attention. Not only is it hosted at the breathtaking Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge, a place we have long admired but have yet to visit, it is also an opportunity perfectly aligned with what we believe in. It is a chance to capture Africa’s raw beauty in its purest and most unfiltered form. This course offers the skills to tell compelling stories, from the elegance of lodge life to the thrill of a game drive, all through the lens of a mobile phone. Even better, it creates the space to meet fellow creatives who share a passion for travel, content creation, and documenting memorable moments.
Participants will be guided through hands-on, beginner-friendly workshops designed to teach you how to capture striking images and cinematic videos using your phone. You will learn how to master editing tools for a polished, professional finish, receive expert advice on photographing nature, wildlife, food, and lifestyle content, and discover storytelling techniques that turn visuals into narratives worth sharing.
The course is led by Dr. Bernie van der Linde, a globally recognised content creator, digital marketing lecturer, and editor of Travel Buddies Lifestyle, along with Petra Top, a mobile content specialist and sub-editor for the same publication. Together, they will offer practical sessions designed to build confidence, refine creative skills, and elevate the way you capture and share your stories.
This experience takes place from the 3rd to the 5th of June 2025 at Sediba Luxury Safari Lodge in Welgevonden Game Reserve. The cost is R11,550 per person sharing, inclusive of accommodation, transfers from Lanseria Airport, daily workshops, meals, game drives, and a certificate of completion.
