The Miriam Odemba Foundation (MOF) has announced a health-focused campaign set to take place on 25 July 2025, with events planned across selected health facilities in Dar es Salaam and surrounding areas. The initiative is centered on blood donation, maternal care, and accessible health services—especially for women in labor and new mothers who often navigate childbirth without adequate support.
It’s the kind of campaign that calls for more than a headline, it calls for participation.
The event will include blood drives, visits to maternity wards, and the provision of basic medical support to underserved communities. It also aims to raise awareness about the role of youth in life-saving acts like blood donation and the importance of building a culture that supports women’s health and dignity.
Founder Miriam Odemba, an internationally recognized Tanzanian model based in Paris, shared her motivation:
