PARISIAN ELEGANCE IN WATERFALL CITY: LE PARC OPENS ITS SECOND CHAPTER AT POLOFIELDS CROSSING

The effortlessly chic, joie de vivre spirit of Paris has officially expanded its footprint in Johannesburg. Following the iconic success of its flagship location in Hyde Park, Le Parc by Tashas Group has unveiled its second home at Polofields Crossing in Waterfall City—bringing a refined blend of European cafe culture, artisanal culinary craft, and curated luxury retail to one of the city’s most dynamic neighborhoods.

From Morning Espresso to Sunset Boules While the Hyde Park emporium first captured the city’s heart with its Parisian charm, Le Parc Polofields evolves the experience into a seamless, all-day sanctuary. Framed by a generous outdoor garden and complete with a classic boules court, the space moves naturally from sunlit morning breakfasts to ambient evening dinners. It invites guests to slow down and linger—whether pausing for an espresso, gathering for sunset drinks, or enjoying a cozy dinner under the stars.

Artisanal Patisserie & Nostalgic Indulgence At the core of Le Parc is a devotion to timeless culinary beauty. The menu reinterpret classic French bistro favorites with a contemporary, elevated touch, anchored by daily artisan baking and handcrafted patisserie. Sweet connoisseurs will find an exclusive collection created by award-winning pastry chef Jared Melamed of La Tarte Patisserie, available strictly at Le Parc locations.

Polofields also debuts Le Swirl—Le Parc’s playful, high-end take on soft serve. Velvety vanilla ice cream is swirled with rich berry compote, zesty lemon curd, or salted caramel, then layered with decadent toppings like honeycomb brittle, fudge, and toasted oat crumble. Inspired by nostalgic favorites like lemon meringue tart and rustic chocolate cake, each creation is pure comfort in a glass.

The Retail Emporium: Elevating the Everyday Built around the romance of everyday French neighborhood living, Le Parc Polofields unifies a bistro, bakery, flower market, and boutique into one destination. Guests can wander past vibrant seasonal floral displays, collect a warm sourdough loaf fresh from the oven, or shop a handpicked selection of artisanal pantry essentials, design-focused coffee-table books, and homeware.

“Opening in Waterfall City feels like a natural next step for Le Parc,” says Natasha Sideris, CEO & Founder of Tashas Group. “We’re excited to bring our little corner of Paris to this vibrant community, with everything that makes Hyde Park so special—beautiful food, the bakery, flowers, the emporium, and now dinner too.”

An Expanding Footprint The Polofields opening represents the second chapter of Le Parc’s national footprint, with a third location preparing to open along Cape Town’s Mouille Point promenade later this year.
